Getting started - Short instructions

SiteAnalyzer completely validates your web project in one go page by page, and at the same time analyses the quality of the code in the core areas accessibility, usability and SEO.
Weak spots are listed by single pages (URL) and directly highlighted in colour in the code. An individual configuration allows to focus on specific tests. The test software is completed by the report and export functions.

Testing a website - easily done in three steps

  1. Insert the URL of a website and start the analysis
  2. Select the options to choose the tests to be run. This can be done at any time, even retrospectively (!). Based on the new options, the system is able to update the results without problems. The display of the number of pages to be tested is constantly updated, as Qualidator results for accessibility, usability and SEO as well as the Alexa Page Rank are received. You can find these by providing the URL. At the same time, the identified and tested pages are listed in tables for further elaboration.
  3. Analysis and improvement of the weak spots identified in four ways (browser, error, report and code mode) Click on the amount of mistakes or warnings, to upload data below.

Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ

What is the difference between a warning and a hint?
A warning refers to syntax and a hint to style. Warnings arise from the HTML validation, hints from the Qualidator tests.

Why does the test run stop after x amount of pages?
Should you not have registered under ,Options', you can do so and enable an additional amount of pages. Free registration doubles the amount of pages and allows you perform more detailed analysis.

Why are some tests disabled?
Registered users can select more tests than anonymous users; depending on the licence, customers are able to activate all tests.

Are the Robots.txt rules observed?
Yes, incl. activities relating to User Agent. User Agent can be adapted in the licensed versions only.

Why does the Qualidator Website Analyzer show a warning for a broken image, which in reality is not displayed?
This is possible if the Qualidator Website Analyzer has been excluded by Robots.txt and therefore cannot analyse the image. This can be identified in the Analyzer under "Error Log" (error message: URL excluded by Robots.txt). This way, the Website Analyzer gives a warning to indicate that the image needs to be analysed manually. Should the image not be broken, the analysis can continue and this specific item can be ignored in future tests.
